Roller Derby Photography

 

I've been photographing The Bay Area Derby Girls for about 10 years under the monikers "Mister Moxxxie" and "Marrstache".  The women's roller derby experienced a revival around 2001 and continues to grow today, including teams from London, Australia, and Tokyo.  Though I'm now mostly retired, I am grateful to have been afforded the opportunity to learn how to get the most out of my camera gear while also becoming part of a great community of people.
